open-mesh leno weave, impregnated with a supersaturation of soft paraffin solution. Presented in gauze strips and multi-piece dressings,
Bamford Paraffin Gauze is packed in polypropylene containers.

Paraffin Gauze dressings are for use on superficial wounds, burns, skin grafts and traumatic injuries.
Recommended as a primary wound contact layer paraffin gauze should be used in conjunction with an appropriate secondary dressing.
Regular dressing changes should be made to avoid the dressing drying out and to minimise the possibility of the dressing adhering to the wound.
